Terms of Service
Effective July 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and MailFleet (“MailFleet”, “we”, “us”), reachable at hello@mailfleet.dev. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
1. The service
MailFleet is an API for sending transactional email — receipts, magic links, alerts and similar product-generated messages — from domains you own and verify. We provide the API, dashboard, domain verification, delivery logging and related tooling described in the documentation.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for everything sent through your account and API keys. Keep keys secret; revoke any key you believe is compromised.
- You may only verify and send from domains you own or are authorized to use.
3. Acceptable use
Your use of the service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: transactional email to opted-in recipients only — no spam, no purchased lists, no deception.
4. Plans and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor.
- Each plan includes a monthly email quota and a sending-domain limit. Sends beyond the quota are rejected rather than billed as overage.
- You can cancel or downgrade at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial months.
- Prices may change; we will give existing subscribers advance notice by email before a change affects them.
5. Deliverability protection and suspension
Shared email infrastructure only works if every sender behaves. We monitor bounce and complaint rates and may automatically pause, or manually suspend, accounts that exceed the thresholds in the Acceptable Use Policy, send spam, or otherwise endanger platform deliverability. Where practical we will notify you and work with you to resolve the issue; egregious abuse may result in immediate termination.
6. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is”and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Email delivery ultimately depends on third-party networks and receiving mailbox providers we do not control; we do not guarantee that any particular message will be delivered or placed in the inbox.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailFleet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination your API keys stop working; sections 6, 7 and anything that by its nature should survive, survives.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will give notice — by email or in the dashboard — before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
